Our Story

Misty Clapsaddle, a native of Central Ohio, began singing at the age of 3 and began performing alongside her family in the church where she grew to know the Lord. Over the years, her mama taught her to hear harmony parts and her passion was ignited for gospel music.  "There's just no other music like it!  It's God's music!" she says. Misty pursued music performance, worship leadership and biblical studies at Cincinnati Christian University and toured with her family’s Southern Gospel group, Soul Purpose Quartet, for over 30 years. Misty makes her home in Sevierville, TN with her charming son, Christopher, who is her pride and joy. You will find Misty loves letting her love for Jesus show.  She likes to show the excitement and joy of sharing the gospel message to the world. She wants only to point others toward the way of  SALVATION through JESUS CHRIST! This is her calling…to go forth telling the Good News! Jesus is Alive!

Born in Louisville, Kentucky, Jordan was raised in Paris, Kentucky. Jordan and his wife Tiffani now make their home near Richmond, Kentucky, where they await the birth of their child, which is due in June. Jordan has been involved in worship ministry since eleven, playing percussion and singing. Jordan has also been blessed to lead worship in some churches in both Kentucky and Michigan over the years. “God laid it on my heart to pursue ministry in high school, and I have been doing so since.” Stated Jordan. In their spare time, Jordan and Tiffani enjoy spending time with family and their dog, Rusty. “I’m excited and thankful for the opportunity to continue singing for the Lord.”

Willie and his wife Tammy make their home in Gallipolis, Ohio. Willie has been with Mercy's Reign from the beginning and has enjoyed professionally sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ in song for over thirty years. In addition to singing for Mercy's Reign, Willie is responsible for many managerial and financial duties. Willie also writes many original songs and has published his first book, “Hot Dogs & Funerals.” In his spare time, Willie enjoys power naps, playing with the family dogs (Zoey, Bella, and Tucker), visiting his wife's daycare (TJ's Child Care of Gallipolis), and helping his daughter figure out married life. The Church family is active in both the church and the community. Willie is also known for telling a joke, or two, or three...

Statement of Faith

1. The Scriptures
We believe that the entire Bible is the inspired Word of God and that men of God “were moved by the Holy Spirit” to write the very words of Scripture.

2. The Godhead (Trinity)
We believe in one true God eternally existing in three distinct persons (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) each of Whom is fully and equally God; possesses all of the divine nature and attributes, and is totally worthy of our worship and service (Deut. 6:4; Matt. 28:19; John 1:14, John 10:30; 2 Cor. 13:14).

3.God the Father
We believe that God the Father is the first person of the Trinity and is the eternal, unchanging all-powerful, all-knowing, all-wise, all-loving, completely just and perfectly holy, sovereign Ruler and Sustainer of the universe.

4. God the Son
We believe that Jesus Christ is the second person of the Trinity and is the only begotten eternal Son of God Who became flesh to reveal God to man, to fulfill prophecy, and to become the Savior of the lost world.

5. God the Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity Who specially came into the world on the day of Pentecost to glorify Christ and to enable men to appropriate the salvation wrought by Christ. He is the primary agent for the conviction of sin and for regeneration. S

6. Salvation
We believe that the shed blood of Jesus Christ on the cross provides the sole basis for forgiveness of sins and salvation, which is the free gift of God’s grace.

1. God Loves You.

God loves you and wants you to know Him so He can fill you with peace and give you real life -- forever. "God loved the people of this world so much that He gave His only son, so that everyone who has faith in Him will have eternal life and never die." Jesus said, "I came so that everyone would have life, and have it in its fullest."

Since God planned for us to have peace and life, why are we so far from God?

2. We are Separated from God.

Since the beginning of time, we have chosen to disobey God and go our own way. We still make this choice today. This results in separation from God.

"All of us have sinned and fallen short of God's holiness." Sin is choosing to say or do or think things that are against God's plan. "The result of unforgiven sin is death. But God's gift is eternal life given by Jesus Christ our Lord."

There is only one way to reach God.

3. Jesus Christ Died for our Sins

Jesus Christ is God's Son. He is the only One who can bring us back to God. Jesus died on the Cross and rose from the grave. He paid the penalty for our sin and bridged the gap between God and people.

"There is only one God, and Christ Jesus is the only One who can bring us to God." "Christ died once for our sins. An innocent person died for those who are guilty. Christ did this to bring you to God."

God has provided the only way – we must make the choice.

4. We Must Receive Christ.

We must trust Jesus Christ to forgive our sins and receive Him as our Savior and serve Him as our Lord. "As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believed on His name."

Would you like to give your life over to Jesus Christ right now? If so, you can pray to God and accept Jesus as your Savior where ever you are. Once you ask for forgiveness and accept Christ as your Savior let us know so we can help you with finding a church in your area and answer any questions you may have. Remember, God loves you, and we love you.
